Team Coaching

  • Team coaching (which involves one or more coaches depending on the context) consists of three key phases, whether it is for an executive committee, a team from the same department, peers from different departments wishing to develop cross-functional skills, a project team or a specific community within the company.

  • Framing and committing to the mission: the process begins with an alignment on the overall objectives of the mission, formalised by a contract between the team leader and the coach. Preliminary 45-minute individual interviews are generally conducted between each team member and the coach to better understand expectations and needs.

  • Moving towards the set goal: over a period of 6 to 9 months, coaching sessions take place on a daily or half-daily basis, every 4 to 8 weeks. These group sessions enable the group to engage in a shared dynamic, gain new insights and experiment with new “codes”. They are practical and connected to the team’s current challenges (for example, with the support of the coach, the executive committee will not work on its functioning and then on the company’s strategy, but will work on its functioning by working on the company’s strategy).

  • Closing and preparing for the future: the process ends with a group review involving the team leader and the coach, in order to look back on the progress made and define the next steps to maintain the momentum.
